#19 Announcing Jimmy Briefs

Hi everyone!

As I mentioned last time, I'm implementing some changes to this newsletter and this email is to let you know what you can expect going forward!

Here are the changes:

1. Each email will be shorter, punchier, and a tad more opinionated. Consider yourself warned!

2. Increased frequency! I'm going to trial fortnightly emails. ⏰

3. Because I'm not going to increase the number of articles I write, only some emails will include an article, others will just be short-form musings from yours truly. 🧠

4. I'm dropping the 'best things I've read' section. 🚫

5. And – perhaps most importantly – I'm rebranding Jimmy News! 🩲

This newsletter will be known as Jimmy Briefs going forward!

Why Jimmy Briefs?

Well aside from the giggle factor, it genuinely feels appropriate.

If newsletters were items of clothing, this newsletter isn't supposed to be a blazer. I intend to get under the surface and talk about the real world of business, analysis, and getting stuff done. In other words, it's the underwear of newsletters.

You know, in a totally professional, not weird, and not sleazy way!

Plus, each newsletter will be short and brief!

It also provided me the opportunity to spend a happy Sunday drawing this masterpiece👇 – an investment of time I do not regret for a second!

Now, I realise that this isn't what you signed up for and may not be what you want. If that's the case, I totally understand if you unsubscribe. There's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email so this is always an option if you decide that you don't like the direction.

But I hope you'll stick around. Not least because I've been doing a ton of thinking about the kind of thinking and writing I want to be doing going forward and I think these changes are for the better! 🌱
